Pan Am Games gets some Sudbury 'respect'

Artwork created by the youth of "The Spot" drop-in center during the month of February will be displayed in Toronto during the 2015 Toronto Pan Am/Parapan American Games next summer.

The artwork includes two collectively created panels relating to themes of "healthy living" and "respect," as well as individual canvasses created by youth reflecting these same themes.

The project was co-ordinated by Arts for Children & Youth, Better Beginnings Better Futures and Myths & Mirrors Community Arts.

A celebration of the art project takes place at Better Beginnings Better Futures from 1-3 p.m. Feb. 21. Refreshments will be served.
