Little Current artist Ivan Wheale is featured in the spring edition of Arabella Magazine, Canada's foremost art magazine.
The article itself, entitled “Artist to Collect,” was written by Sudburian Hugh Kruzel.
Wheale is a landscape painter known for depicting Georgian Bay. Throughout his career, he's had nearly 100 solo exhibitions.
His work hangs in 42 public and corporate collections, including the Royal Collection and the Dean's Collection at Windsor Castle in England and the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa.
Wheale was made the Art Gallery of Sudbury's first honourary fellow last October, recognizing his long-standing contributions to the organization.
The magazine's spring edition is currently available on newsstands.
