Netflix's OITNB star filming in Sudbury

Traverse Media, Hideaway Pictures and Timshell Picture are in Sudbury this week shooting for the indie horror pic "Antibirth."

Written and directed by Danny Peres, the film features "Orange Is The New Black" star Natasha Lyonne. Best known for her role as Jessica in the American Pie series, Lyonne is more recently famed for her Emmy nomination for her role as the inmate and recovering drug addict Nicky Nichols in OITNB.

Lyonne plays Lou, an anti-heroine struggling with a strange illness, paranoia and fragmented visions who embarks on an insane journey to regain control of her life.

The film co-stars Chloe Sevigny ("Boys Don't Cry"), Canadian Meg Tilly ("The Big Chill"), Mark Webber ("Scott Pilgrim VS. The World") and Canadian Maxwell McCabe-Lokos ("The Incredible Hulk").
