Musicians needed for Bell Park summer shows

The city invites local musicians to apply for an opportunity to perform during the annual Bell Park Concert Series. Free concerts run from August to September in Bell Park, with shows taking place on Sundays from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

The city invites local musicians to apply for an opportunity to perform during the annual Bell Park Concert Series.

Free concerts run from August to September in Bell Park, with shows taking place on Sundays from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Musicians who fulfill the following criteria will be given priority:

-Entertainment is family-friendly
-Entertainment demonstrates collaboration amongst artists within the same area of performance
-Entertainers are representative of the diversity of the City of Greater Sudbury
-Performances present minimal logistical requirements.

Depending on factors such as the size of performing groups, technical requirements, availability and expected attendance, the concerts will be held at one of three locations in Bell Park: the Katherine Bell Gazebo, William Bell Gazebo or the Grace Harthman Amphitheatre.

The deadline to apply is April 17 at 4:30 p.m.
