Sudburians are invited to learn the skill of string art at the Main Public Library Makerspace on April 20 from 6-8 p.m.

Emily Franceshini will guide potential string artists through the process of arranging the thread between points to make abstract or representational patterns.

Participants will nail the outline of a stencil to a piece of stained wood and then string a heavy thread between the nails at different angles with their own choice of stencils.

The MakerLab workshop is free, including materials.

Register online at sudburylibraries.ca. Space is limited.
