Enjoy an unique Italian dinner with a side dish of exquisite French music — all in the company of the most amazing and important woman in the world.

In honour of Mother's Day, on May 9 Ristorante Verdicchio (1351Kelly Lake Rd.) is hosting a dinner for moms, as well as a performance of “Cafe Piaf” by chanteuse and actor Pandora Topp in its Natura Event Space.

The evening starts with refreshing cocktails at 7 p.m. followed by hors d'oeuvres and a three-course meal. The show begins at 8:30 p.m.

“Cafe Piaf” tells the story of French singer Edith Piaf and her tale of courage, resilience and realism.
Pandora Topp, who will be performing the vocals, has been an inseparable part of the local music, theatre and film industry for the last 20 years.

Topp will be accompanied by Iona Reed-Pukana on accordion, Ron Kelly on guitar and Brian Quebec on double bass.

Tickets are available at the restaurant, or by calling 705-523-2794, for the price of $80 including HST.
