Science North on the lookout for vendors

Science North is on the hunt for vendors to ply their wares at the science centre's annual Canada Day festivities.

Of particular interest are vendors offering fun, family-friendly and interactive services or products.

Food vendors are encouraged to express interest in areas that complement Science North's on-site food business. This is a fancy way of saying that you should sell french fries, sandwiches or sweets.

The fees are as follows: 10 per cent of gross sales, or a minimum of $350, for a single lot (20x15); $150 for non-profit groups and $50 for non-profit groups offering an activity or information appropriate to Science North.

Vendors will operate from noon to 10 p.m. The event culminates in a firework extravaganza after the main stage entertainment show.
