The Jubilation Youth Choir from St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minnesota performs “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” starting at 7 p.m. June 12 at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church in Copper Cliff.

The choir practice and perform at their own church all year round. Every summer, they dedicate one week to tour North America and present their art in churches all over the continent.

Sixty youth sing about Joseph, a hero from the biblical book of Genesis. Joseph, the favourite son of honoured patriarch Jacob, receives a beautiful coat from his father.

Joseph’s brothers are so jealous that they take the first opportunity to secretly sell Joseph into slavery to Egypt.

However, Joseph manages to rise out of slavery to power. Now his brothers depend on his help for survival. Will Joseph take revenge or enter the path of reconciliation?

Admission to the concert is a free will offering. For more information, email [email protected].
