The Knights of Valour Full Contact Jousting is returning to Greater Sudbury on May 29 at the Anderson Farm in Lively.

The gates will open at 5:30 p.m. and hot food will be available. The show will start at 7pm.

Watch and enjoy as you are entertained by exhibitions of horsemanship with a mounted games competition, then glorious Birds of Prey presented by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy as our half time show and the climax of the evening will be a full heavy-armour jousting tournament.

Watch as some of North America’s best full contact jousters compete for the title of champion. Sudbury’s own TJ Duquette (Sir Theodore) returns to perform for the hometown crowd.

Before or after the show feel free to visit our gift shop for souvenirs which can be autographed by the competitors and demonstrators at the end of the event. Participants will come into the audience to meet everyone after the tournament.

General admission is $15 per adult or $8 for children ages four to 10. Children under three are free. Share and like this event on Facebook and save $3 off one regular general admission ticket.

Most horses of the Knights of Valour are rescued draft horses. All jousting at this event is reall, unchoreographed and done by trained professional athletes.

The event is sponsored by Equipment North.
