This “Chicago-rooted, funky, horn-heavy sound” will also extend their performance at the SRO for the evening. Tickets for that show are limited and can be purchased at the SRO.

This is a special year as it marks 25 years of a community effort to raise money for the Sudbury Food Bank. Admission is a non-perishable food item or cash donations. For the past 24 years, the festival has raised over $275,000 and over 60 tons of non-perishable food items to help get food on the table for those in need.

Chuck Jacobs, president, Rotary Club of Sudbury said they will also be honouring longtime volunteer and Rotarian, Rick Van Oort, who passed away this past year.

“The Rotary Club has done some fundraising in Rick Van Oort’s honour,” says Jacobs. “This would have been a special year for him since he was involved from the very beginning.”
