It's time once again for the great compost giveaway!

The City of Greater Sudbury’s annual compost giveaway takes place May 30 at the ParkSide Centre (140 Durham St.) in downtown Sudbury.

A limited quantity of bagged, unscreened, finished compost will be available to residents at no cost, on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a limit of one bag per household.

The giveaway will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. or while supplies last. This event is part of the city's Organics Program, launched in 2009.
