The Sound of Music, Rent, Mary Poppins, Rock of Ages and Monty Python's Spamalot. Those are some of the classic and award-winning musicals in store in Theatre Cambrian’s 2015-2016 season.

“We always try to get the heavy hitters in, but every year it's something different,” said Theatre Cambrian executive director Mark Mannisto.

“Certainly for musical productions, we want to get shows that have the widest appeal as possible.”

But if you're looking for something a little different, Theatre Cambrian also has plenty to choose from.

That includes its dinner theatre production Skin Flick, a comedy about five ordinary people caught up in the business of trying to make it in the adult film industry.

“It's a very ambitious season, but I think it's a season that offers something for everyone,” Mannisto said.

“I think that it doesn't matter who you are. You can go to any one of our productions this year and leave with a smile.”
