Sudbury's young writers were recently given a challenge: pen a creepy tale or poem featuring Capreol, with a chance to win a prize of money and publication in local author Mat Del Papa's new book, “Creepy Capreol Jr.”

The contest, sponsored by Northern Life, was part of the Wordstock Sudbury Literary Festival, which took place June 19-20.
