Downtown Sudbury is about to get a case of the blues. This year's Sudbury Blueberry Festival is taking on a new initiative to promote and support the festival in the downtown core.

Ten local businesses have donated window space to be painted with blueberry-themed images designed by Cambrian College graphic design students and hand-painted by local high school student volunteers.

The painting spree gets underway July 7 at Querney's and on July 9 at Canada Post. Painting will continue into Saturday, July 11 at Village International.

But wait, there's more; there are 10 businesses downtown that are participating. Now that you know three of them, go out and find the other seven.

The first seven people to find the remaining seven locations and post a picture to the Sudbury Blueberry Festival Facebook page will win a vintage festival pin and festival balloon, along with a bevvy of other prizes.

Please note that prizes will be awarded to each person only once. You can't accumulate seven prizes for finding all seven businesses. Winners will be contacted and asked to pick up prizes at the Downtown Sudbury Office at 7 Cedar St.
