Getting your car spic and span for summertime cruising is a definite must. Well this Saturday, you can get your ride washed while helping a great cause and possibly be a part of a world record.

Getting your car spic and span for summertime cruising is a definite must.

Well this Saturday, you can get your ride washed while helping a great cause and possibly be a part of a world record.

On July 18, Krown Rust Control will attempt to break the world record for the most vehicles washed by an organization in one day, at the second annual Krown Wash for a Wish Car Wash.

For $10, Canadians will receive a hand car wash at any participating Krown Rust Control location across the country and 100 per cent of money raised will be donated to regional chapters of The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.

There are three Krown locations in the Greater Sudbury area:
  • 739 Regent St.; 
  • 2397 Lasalle Blvd; and 
  • 203 Michael St (Chelmsford)
Car washes get underway at 9 a.m. and the cleaning crews will be finsihing up at 2 p.m.
