Beans, beans the musical fruit: At The Market this weekend

This weekend’s featured products at The Market are green and yellow string beans. Fresh, crisp beans are perfect as a healthy side dish or tossed in a summery salad.

Stop by Lone Star Hand Craft Company for one-of-a-kind copper-tooled accessories, including jewelry, garden pieces and home décor. 

No Sugs, a folk, rock and blues duo, will perform on Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. Experience a taste of the Caribbean with the Northern All Stars Steel Pan taking the stage from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Visitors are reminded the parking lot directly across from the Sudbury Arena on Elgin Street is only accessible via the YMCA parking lot entrance. The main entrance to this lot is closed for the season to accommodate the improved market site layout. Additional free parking is available at the municipal lot on Elgin Street, located on the south side of the CP/Via Rail Station building.

The Market is located next to the CP/Via Rail Station at 233 Elgin St. in downtown Sudbury, and is open every weekend rain or shine, Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
