Sound the trumpets, we have a winner!

On July 22, through its Twitter and Facebook feeds, the symphony asked fans to caption an old photo of Canadian renowned trumpeter Guy Few.

The winning caption was thought up by Fred Norris, whose clever play on the musician's name, "This is a 'Guy' with more than a 'Few' good notes" won him two tickets to the symphony's Oct. 24 concert with blues artist Rita Chiarelli.

The SSo's photo contests will be run weekly on Wednesdays, so if you love the symphony, make sure to check their social media feeds every Wednesday for your shot at a prize.

The new contest is part of the symphony's 40th anniversary celebrations.
