Hydro One’s Electricity Discovery Centre travels to Sudbury for six days at Science North, starting on July 27.

The Electricity Discovery Centre is a 1,000-square foot state-of-the-art mobile education trailer with hands-on, interactive exhibits that explain Ontario’s power system, help customers manage their electricity costs, and educate children about electricity safety.

Stop in at the Electricity Discovery Centre and check out our two new exhibits - the Wire Wall and the Pedal-a-Watt. The Wire Wall display offers visitors an exclusive opportunity to safely examine the lines that make up the high voltage transmission system and the low voltage distribution system.

The Pedal-a-Watt turns visitors into electricity generators who can use pedal power to run common household electronics.

Fully accessible, the Electricity Discovery Centre will be located outside the main entrance during the following hours:

-Monday, July 27 – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
-Tuesday, July 28 – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
-Wednesday, July 29 – 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
