Artist Taylor Jones is best known for his project, Dear Photograph, which asks people to find old photos, and take a photo of them in the same place, showing the changes that have occurred over the years.

Jones, who has a Dear Photograph book and blog, is participating in Up Fest, which takes place in Sudbury Aug. 13-15.

As such, he's asking Sudburians to dig up old photos of Sudbury and rephotograph them in context for an exposé that will be set up at the Grand Theatre during Up Fest. The exhibit will be called Dear Sudbury.

“We are starting to think of ways of telling stories of the history of your cities!” Jones said, on his Facebook page.

“First up, Sudbury, Ontario for Up Fest. We want to see your story, so send your photos if you've ever been or have lived there to be part of the exhibit in August. Love, Dear Photograph.”

To submit a photo, email [email protected]. Learn more at dearphotograph.com/submission.
