North Sea Gas brings Scottish harmonies to Nickel City

Direct from Scotland, North Sea Gas brings its beautiful three-part harmonies, stories and Scottish humour to St. Peter's United Church.

North Sea Gas are no strangers to Sudbury audiences. They are one of Scotland's most popular folk bands, and have been travelling the world for more than 30 years. They have received gold and silver disc awards from the Scottish Music Industry Association and regularly have sell out shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

In 2013, their newest album the "Fire and Passion of Scotland" won the Celtic Radio Music Award for Album of the Year in the United States. In 2008, the band recorded a performance for Chinese television that had an audience of 800 million people.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $20 in advance and are available at Gloria's Convenience on Bouchard Street and the Guitar Clinic on Barrydowne Road. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.foreveryoungshows.com.
