Get cultured: It's time for Culture Days!

More than 1,500 free activities will take place in 150 cities and towns across Ontario for the sixth annual Culture Days Sept. 25-27.

More than 1,500 free activities will take place in 150 cities and towns across Ontario for the sixth annual Culture Days Sept. 25-27.

No matter what your age or inclination, there is a free cultural experience waiting for you to discover, a press release said.

“Art and culture are important to our identity as Ontarians,” said Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport Michael Coteau, in a press release.

“They are also significant contributors to our quality of life, our well-being – and are important economic drivers that support jobs and contribute to Ontario’s economy. Culture Days is a great way for people to enjoy and celebrate the diverse cultural activities of our province.”

Here's some activities happening in Greater Sudbury:

-Five Artists, Five Views, Warehouse Studio, 338 John St., 10-4 p.m. Sept. 26-27.
-Open house at STC, Sudbury Theatre Centre, 1-4 p.m. Sept. 26.
-Cello Cafe, Fromagerie Elgin, 12-2 p.m. Sept. 27.
-Three, trois, tre exhibit by Ron Langin, Open Studio, 93 Cedar St., Unit 303, 12-3 p.m. Sept. 25-27.
-Meet the artists, Artists' Loft on Larch, 280 Larch St., 6-9 p.m. Sept. 25, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 26-27.
-Tour on the Fringe, 276 Cedar St., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 26-27.
