Comedy for a Cure fights breast cancer with laughter

Comedy for a Cure — starring comedians Lamont Ferguson, Ryan Short, Scott Belford and Danny Martinello — takes place Oct. 2.

Proceeds from the event go to the Northern Cancer Foundation's Breast Cancer Equipment Fund.

The event — put on by the local breast cancer fundraising group Angels in Pink — takes place starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Caruso Club. There will be a door prize and a 50/50 draw.

Tickets cost $34 each or two for $57, and are available through Theatre Cambrian's box office at 705-524-7317, as well as at the Northern Cancer Foundation office, Lynn's Place, the Beauty Supply Outlet and the Caruso Club.
