Sudbury's Théâtre Nouvel-Ontario (TNO) will host their second benefit evening on Oct. 3, featuring jazz and blues singer Susie Arioli.

Arioli has carved a strong reputation for herself on the international music scene and will be performing songs from her ninth studio album, which will be in stores on Oct. 9.

This is a very exclusive engagement and only 100 Sudburians will be fortunate enough to be in the audience and be some of the first to hear live performances of Arioli's new music.

Tickets can be purchased from the TNO box office for $150 and each ticket holder will receive a $100 income tax receipt.

The evening gets underway at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail dinatoire (finger foods) and will be followed by the intimate concert. A dessert will follow the performance.

Proceeds from the event will be invested in French-language theatre productions presented to hundreds of children at a reduced price during family and school-based matinees.

Money from ticket sales will also go to a pair of $1,000 scholarships will be given to students attending Laurentian University's French-language theatre program and Collège Boréal's technique et gestion de scène program.
