Accompanying the haunt for the first time is a full novel — entitled "Nightmare at the North Pole" — and is written by Matthew Del Papa, Lisa Coleman-Brown and illustrated by local author Robert Michelutti. The book describes how the North Pole has fallen into chaos and allows visitors to live out the ending in real life. The book is available at NORMHC for $5.

The Terror Train opened to the public on Sept. 26 and runs Oct. 2-4, Oct. 9-11, Oct. 16-18, Oct. 23-25 and Oct. 30. Tickets are $12 each, but combo packages for those interested in attending Dynamic Earth's Tunnel of Terror are available at a discounted rate through SudburyTourism.ca.

Reporter Matt Durnan took a video camera with him when he visited the Terror Train last week and videographer Heather Green-Oliver put it together to give you a taste of the horror!
