This show combines two of Gorecki’s passions - painting and travelling. When deciding on a theme for this show, Gorecki thought about all the wondrous places she'd seen and the huge volume of digital photos she could use for references. Gorecki tried to capture the beauty of many places from around the world through the exciting medium of watercolour, which has been working in since 1983.

“It’s a really beautiful world,” said Gorecki, and her show reflects this.

Gorecki has won an award from the Northern Ontario Art Association in a juried exhibition, work in several of the La Cloche Juried Art Shows over the years, and solo exhibitions in various galleries across Northern Ontario. Gorecki is also an honorary member of the Walden Art Club.

Artists on Elgin is located at 168 Elgin St., and is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
