Pumpkinferno is an enchanting outdoor award-winning exhibit created by Upper Canada Village, featuring thousands of hand-carved pumpkins set against a glowing Sudbury backdrop on the grounds of Dynamic Earth, home of the Big Nickel.

The exhibit features 18 unique sets made entirely of individual fibre pumpkins in a spellbinding display of artistry and imagination.

New in 2015, Pumpkinfero has been expanded to include a celebration of Sudbury’s mining heritage and an interactive word wall.

Dress warmly and enjoy a 30-45 minute stroll on our outdoor trails and new fire pit for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows – as well as fingers and toes.

The event is open to all ages and will open on Oct. 9 and will run throughout the weekend.

Every week following during October, Pumpkinferno will be open from Thursday to Sunday.
