Looking to enjoy some comedy in a club-style environment? You just might want to check out Theatre Cambrian's new comedy series, Comedy Late Night.

Hosted in the lower hall at the company's Eyre Street location, which has been outfitted with small tables to resemble a club atmosphere, the series was introduced in September.

It has already hosted comics Shawn McLaren and Mark DeBonis, to great success.

“We really packed it the last time, so that was good,” said Theatre Cambrian general manager Mishka Khilnani, who said the company aspires to bring quality comedians to town.

Comedy Late Night returns at 9 p.m. on Nov. 27 with a show starring headliner Mike Rita, along with Eric Johnston and Chris Robinson.

Rita is a Toronto native known for his comedy about politics and pot.

Johnston — a Hamilton native and the son of Canadian professional wrestler “Bullwhip" Danny Johnson — is a trained actor and graduate of the Vancouver Film School. He's been working his way up the Canadian comedy scene.

Robinson is a young comedian with a laid back, conversational style. He's been a staple of Toronto's comedy clubs for years.

Tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Visit TheatreCambrian.ca or phone 705-524-7317.
