Bishop Alexander Carter principal Cassandra MacGregor and teachers Robert Boucher and Marah Pardoe were honoured at the Sudbury Catholic District School Board meeting last week for winning a prestigious award.
The Valley-area school educators won the Dr. Bette M. Stephenson Recognition of Achievement Award by the provincial Education Quality and Accountability Office. The group attended a recognition ceremony Oct. 28 in Toronto.
The award was given to the local school, one of the 18 elementary and secondary schools in the province to receive the honour, to recognize its efforts to improving student achievement and for its use of EQAO results to improve student learning.
