Artists on Elgin will be accepting submissions for the 2017 Picture Our Lakes Contest beginning Feb. 10.

The return to photography will mark the calendar’s 10th anniversary. To celebrate, the Picture Our Lakes contest will extend to include a series of postcards, as well as the usual calendar.

Photographs submitted to the contest will be entered into jurying for both the calendar and the postcards.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to submit their most captivating Sudbury photos in four categories: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Youth photographers (18 years and younger) will be juried separately.

The 2017 Picture Our Lakes Contest will include photos of lakes, wetlands, and watersheds (creeks and ponds), as well as the landscapes, wildlife, and seasonal flora found in and around Sudbury’s water bodies.

All photos must include some element of naturally-occurring water located within the boundaries of the City of Greater Sudbury.

Visit www.artistsonelgin.ca for submission requirements, contest rules, and more information about Picture Our Lakes.
