Wagonwheel Ranch in Val Therese is bringing back its maple taffy sleigh rides this month.
Each weekend in the month of March, families can enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride through the boreal forest with a bonfire stop for a French-Canadian tradition, tire d’érable (a.k.a maple taffy!)
The maple syrup is produced from the Sucrerie Seguin Surgarbush in Lavigne, boiled and then poured onto fresh snow - grab a popsicle stick, and enjoy your snow maple taffy.
Admission costs are $18/adult, $14/children ages 24 months to 14 years, no charge for babies/toddlers under 24 months old.
Wagonwheel Ranch is located at 2200 Kenneth Dr. in Val Therese. Sleighs depart Saturday and Sunday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Reservations are required as seating on the sleigh is limited. Book your spot by phoning 705-969-8601.
