Local community volunteer honour by Rotary Club

Mary Stefura will be honoured by Rotary Club of Sudbury with a Paul Harris Fellowship April 8.

Stefura is being honoured for her community work with the Sudbury Multicultural Association, Laurentian University Museum and Arts Centre (now the Art Gallery of Sudbury), TVO, and Science North.

Stefura has also worked hard in the Ukrainian-Canadian community and she continues to volunteer at the Ukrainian Seniors' Centre.

Stefura will be honoured with a lunch at the Holiday Inn on April 8. Tickets are $25 per person. Proceeds from the event will be split between the Rotary Club and the Ukrainian Barvinok Residence, one of Stefura's projects. For more informaiton phone 705-675-5602.
