Third H1N1 patient dies at Sudbury Regional Hospital

Another patient with H1N1 (swine flu) receiving care at Sudbury Regional Hospital has died.

This is the third H1N1 patient to die at Sudbury Regional Hospital this fall.

The patient was identified as having conditions that increase risk for complications for those who contract the virus. The death has been reported to the Sudbury and District Health Unit.

  • I realize they can't issue specific information on people health. They should issue national H1N1 death statistics regarding underlying health so people with similar conditions can take further precautions. Also, how many of the unfortunate who passed had the H1N1 flu shot.
