Métis author to speak at Cambrian

Cambrian College’s Wabnode Institute and Native Students’ Association are hosting a special presentation by award-winning Métis author and musician David Bouchard Nov. 18 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

The presentation will take place in room 2133 at the college Wabnode Institute.

Bouchard will speak about the Seven Sacred Teachings in Métis culture, as described in his latest book by the same name. This event is free and open to all members of the Cambrian College community.

The presentation is part of Louis Riel Week, which runs from November 16-20 and celebrates the discovery and understanding of Métis culture.
