A rally in support of striking members of Steelworkers Local 6500 will be held at the Sudbury Arena Sept. 19.

The rally, which will begin at 11:00 a.m., will feature updates on the strike, as well as a march to the site of the new Steelworkers hall.

There will be music and entertainment following the march. The concession stands at the arena will be selling snacks, as well as discounted tickets to the Sudbury Wolves' game later that evening.

    My comment was deleted, I said the strikers have ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT FROM ME!, They CHOSE to strike and now are complaining that hey have no money comng in. DUH! it's your own fault, if you want a pay cheque, you have to actually work not just …more» demand more.

    I bet if the union bosses (Fera etc.) were having to live on strike pay this would have been over long ago.«less
