Warm weather has taken its toll on wintertime pastimes such as skating.

Greater Sudbury city staff are advising residents that the skating oval at Queen's Athletic Field and Ramsey Lake Skate Path are now closed for the season.

Due to mild temperatures, conditions are no longer safe for use. Lively Ski Hill is also closed, but Adanac and Capreol Ski Hills are operating as usual.
