Information sessions about Sudbury Soils Study

The technical committee overseeing the Sudbury Soils Study will present the conclusions of the Ecological Risk Assessment at community information sessions today (March 31) at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Science North.

The ecological risk assessment is the third part of the Sudbury Soils Study, which assessed the potential ecological impacts related to metals in the environment.

The open house will include information sessions staffed by the member agencies representing the technical committee for the Sudbury Soils Study. Experts from the fields of environmental and chemical sciences will also be available to respond to questions.

  • Funny how the emissions don''t harm soil or people but they eat the paint off your vehiclesand INCO pays for a new paint job. I don''t think the real results will ever come out.
