Rainbow board provides registration information

Parents who want to register their children at Rainbow District School Board Schools will now have to wait until schools re-open Aug. 23.

Classes begin the day after Labour Day on Sept. 7.

For the six schools offering the new Early Learning Kindergarten Program - Churchill Public School, Lansdowne Public School, Princess Anne Public School, Queen Elizabeth Public School, Wembley Public School and A.B. Ellis Public School - registrations continue throughout most of the summer for the before and after school programs for four and five-year-olds.

Parents can register for the new Early Learning Kindergarten Program before and after school programs at the Rainbow District School Board office at 69 Young Street in Sudbury, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday to Friday.

The board office will be closed from July 19 to and including Aug. 2.

For more information, visit rainbowschools.ca and click on “Before and After School Programs” under “highlights.”

Before school programs will begin at 7 a.m. After school programs will run until 6 p.m. The programs will be offered for a fee.
