Warning signs placed at Bell Park main beach and Nepahwin Park beach on Aug. 5 by the Sudbury and District Health Unit have been removed.

The signs advised against swimming at the two sites.

“The most recent water samples taken at the beaches by the Health Unit are within acceptable bacteriological water quality standards for bathing beaches,” a Health Unit release said.

The Health Unit takes routine water samples every week during the summer from 35 local beaches.
