Striking members of OPSEU Local 677 will march from the entrance of Laurentian University to the Paris Street and Ramsey Lake Road intersection today (Sept. 2), where they will hold a rally.

The event will take place between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

About 150 clerical, administrative and technical Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM) workers have been on strike against the educational institution since Aug. 16.

  • Maybe someone should call Leo Girard on how to hold rallies and strikes..His fiasco at Vale over the past year speaks volumes on what strikers should do to get what they want...NOT....

  • Because they can't afford one?

  • What kind of union holds a rally without mascots like the Grim Reaper or Big Bird?

  • Hopefully a speeding ambulance doesn't hit anyone
