March to raise awareness about sexual violence

Sudbury's 32nd annual Take Back the Night march will take place Sept. 16 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The event, which is sponsored by the Sudbury Sexual Assault Crisis Centre, will begin with a rally at Tom Davies Square, and conclude with a march through the downtown.

According to a press release, the event is intended to generate greater awareness about sexual violence against women.

Women, girls and boys under 12 years old are invited to participate. Free food and beverages will be served.
