Hike for Hospice raises more than $100,000

More than 600 people participated in the fifth annual Hike for Hospice event in Bell Park May 1. The participants raised more than $100,000 to put towards the Maison Vale Inco Hospice’s operating costs.

More than 600 people participated in the fifth annual Hike for Hospice event in Bell Park May 1.

The participants raised more than $100,000 to put towards the Maison Vale Inco Hospice’s operating costs. Many of those at the walk were there to honour loved ones who received palliative care at the hospice.

Northern Life was one of the sponsors of the event.
