Dystonia is a movement disorder that causes the muscles to contract and spasm involuntarily.

The walk, which raises funds for Dystonia reasearch and awareness about the condition, takes place at the Howard Armstrong Recreation Centre, 4040 Elmview Dr., in Hanmer.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the walk at 10 a.m., followed with a barbecue.

For more information or to register, visit www.dystoniacanada.org/SudburyWalkandWheel or phone Mary 705-524-0606.
