Momentacrux was one of six bands that performed at the Cole Howard Memorial Show Feb. 18. They invited Connor Kennedy, who was in the vehicle that Howard was in at the time of his death, on stage for a few songs. Photo by Jenny Jelen.

The 19-year-old drummer from the local metal band was one of seven teens involved in fatal vehicle collisions Jan. 3.

To honour their friend, a benefit show featuring some of Howard's favourite bands was held, with proceeds going to support a yet-to-be-determined musical charity.
