Sudbury Secondary School's concert band and choir, consisting of grade 9to 12 students, went to Ottawa May 14-16 to perform in MusicFest Canada. In April, Sudbury Secondary School's senior and junior choirs were awarded the top two awards in the local Kiwanis Music Festival. They are the only Sudbury choral representatives at the National Music Festival. The school's North StarConcert Band recently brought home the Gold Award from the Northern Ontario Music Festival.
