For 15 years, Northern Ontario Business has been recognizing the influential women who call northern Ontario home.

The tradition continues this year, with two awards luncheon and tradeshows: Events are scheduled for May 28 at the Days Inn in Timmins and May 31 at the Victoria Inn in Thunder Bay.

Since the inception of the awards, more than 100 influential women have been recognized — seven more will be added to the roster this years.

“We are so proud to be recognizing another seven exceptional women,” Patricia Mills, Northern Ontario Business publisher, said.

“Each year we receive more and more nominations. The stories we read from each submission are so inspiring. We are really looking forward to recognizing the success of each of our winners.”

NOB invites the community to hear from winners the fascinating stories that have shaped their lives and careers and applaud the ladies for their dedication to bettering life in the north.

Tickets can be purchased until May 22 by visiting influentialwomen.ca.

A list of winners will be available June 1.
