United Way accepting funding applications

United Way Sudbury and Nipissing Districts is accepting applications for the 2013 calendar year.

Charities are encouraged to apply for social service program funding. These applications will be based on the 2012 fall community fund campaign. United Way funds more than 50 programs within the City of Greater Sudbury.

To arrange for a copy of the application, phone Melanie Dionne at 705-560-3330 ext. 200 or email office@unitedwaysudbury.com or go to www.unitedwaysudbury.com. The deadline for applications is noon on Friday, Sept 7, 2012.

Training on how to fill out the application form will be held on June 20 at 2 p.m. Register at office@unitedwaysudbury.com.
