Work continues to restore water pressure to the community of Chelmsford after a fire hydrant was struck on Sunday.

Repairs are taking longer than anticipated, and water pressure will remain low throughout the day. Residents are asked to conserve water where possible, according to a city news release.

Residents may fill containers with municipally treated water at a water filling station at the corner of Spruce Street and Church Street in Garson.
