A wide-load escort on Aug. 21 will close sections of Fielding Road in Lively, Municipal Road 55 and Balsam Street in Copper Cliff.
This escort will involve transporting a large piece of industrial equipment to Vale, and it will take up two lanes of traffic.
The route being followed will be as follows:
-Highway17 west to Fielding Road in Lively;
-North on Fielding Road to Municipal Road 55;
-East on Municipal Road 55 to Balsam Street in Copper Cliff;
- Destination being Vale
The escorts will take place from 12:30-1:30 p.m., although the time is subject to change.
Residents are asked to ensure that no vehicles are parked or obstructing the move and that no vehicles are travelling toward the wide load while in transit.
The wide loads will have police escorts in addition to escort vehicles and the Greater Sudbury Police Service will be closing roadway sections as the wide load moves along the route to ensure public and roadway safety.
