Transit adds new Collège Boréal route

Greater Sudbury Transit adds new route for enhanced Collège Boréal service from New Sudbury, said the City of Greater Sudbury in a news release.

Effective Monday, Aug. 27, Greater Sudbury Transit will be offering a new weekday route in response to requests made by Collège Boréal students.

Route 314 will start on Westmount Avenue at Barry Downe Road, turn left on Barry Downe Road, then left on LaSalle Boulevard and finally left at Boréal's main entrance. The route then heads back to Westmount Avenue via LaSalle Boulevard and makes a right on Atlee Avenue to Westmount Avenue.

The new schedules is as follows.

Monday to Friday

Westmount Ave. at Barry Downe Rd.
7:55 a.m.
8:25 a.m.
8:55 a.m.

LaSalle Blvd and Barry Downe
8 a.m.
8:30 a.m.
9 a.m.

LaSalle Blvd and Notre Dame Ave.
8:10 a.m.
8:40 a.m.
9:10 a.m.

Collège Boréal
8:15 a.m.
8:45 a.m.
9:15 a.m.

As a result of adding this new route in the morning, route 14 doubles at 7:30 a.m., 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. and have been removed.
