The City of Greater Sudbury continues to gather public input in reviewing its Official Plan, and another public session has been slated for Sept. 27, said the city in a news release.

Residents are encouraged to show up in council chambers from 6-9 p.m. to provide their views on a proposed change to the policies regarding how new residential building lots are created in rural areas. The proposed change would reduce the minimum lot area and minimum lot frontage requirements for non-waterfront rural residential severances.

To register to speak at the session, call 705-674-4455 ext.4680. The feedback received will inform the Growth and Settlement component of the Official Plan Review.

Further information on this matter can be viewed at www.greatersudbury.ca/officialplan or at the Planning Services Division.

Comments submitted on these matters, including the originator's name and address, become part of the public record, may be viewed by the general public and may be published in a planning report, included in a Planning Committee Agenda and posted on the city's website.
